about music....or cultures

Salim says he doesn't listen to music with lyrics (songs, actually)because most are so - called stuku. (Whichever language).
And it made me think that in Russia we watch a lot of stuku pop song clips on TV, listen to stuku music radio stations... But we also have a bard-guitar (hiking, kvart-festing....whatever...)music tradition, classical music and even jazz tradition, which are as strong as the stuku pop sub-culture we use for banal existing, not to fill our hearts with phylosophy. Can it all tell us anything about the Russian people? About our nation? Are we as deep as superficial? It's interesting, we love both stuku and wise simultaneously...
It would be strange to imagine classical music playing at the Russian railway station hall... However, that is what I saw yesterday in Sweden (Gøteborg). Salim considered it as the cultural level and taste of the Swedish nation. Though, it didn't make me feel the level of Russians is lower than Sweds... On the contrary, in some things it's higher... No descrimination. Just too deep to understand and explain.
I am in Oslo now. Much more to be called *My place* than Copenhagen. A bit of Moscow, London and Turkey...and Prague... Nice!
Just Nice!
Fringe.
Fringe mood.
